Prices: Commercial Sites
We do not provide domain registration or hosting services but can recomend a variety of different hosts to suit your specific needs and budget.
- We are flexible and can design for any budget. We charge a straight hourly rate of $40/hour for our commercial clients and most sites take between 15-20 hours total, depending on the complexity of the project and how many drafts are required during the design pahase.
- Very simple HTML sites that don't require much in the way of design work and without a lot of content can be as low as $400.
- A more typical Design & Build HTML site (something that looks similar to this site) will usually fall in the $600-800 range, depending on the number of pages and the complexity of the site.
- Dynamic CMS based sites, such as E-Commerce sites, art galleries, and things of that nature, typically fall between $700 and $1,000 for a completed project.
- A very few sites that require very sophisticated design and/or functionality can go as high as $1200, but that's unusual.
- Custom Flash Animations add an additional cost, depending on their complexity.
- A simple slideshow can be as low as $50 while more complicated flash-based content can cost dramatically more. Contact us with a description of what you want and links to similar sites for an estimate
As a general rule, the beter your idea of what you wan and the more prepared you are t the easier it will be for us to design something that fits your vision and the less you'll end up paying. We'll be glad to create any and all custom artwork you may need from scratch, or We can use your existing artwork. Discounts are available for clients that need both print and web design work, just ask.
We require a $100 deposit before beginning work on a project. If you have everything organized and ready to go turnaround is typically 2 weeks, depending on the project. This is flexible, We've completed many projects in as little as 48 hours. Completion time depends mostly on the client and how quickly you deliver the materials you want included in the site and how long it takes you to respond to design drafts.
We are also open to barter and trade for services, depending of course on what you have to offer.

Prices: Non-profits and Community Organizations
We strongly believe in activism and grassroots efforts to make the world a more just and liveable place and do our best to support causes and organizations working on issues we believe in. If you are a community-based grassroots organization that is working on issues related to enviornmentalism, global warming, social justice, homelessness, prison abolition, workers rights, human rights, civil rights, feminism, indiginous sovereignity, school reform, or other related campaigns there's a very good chance that we'll be willing to work on your site for a reduced rate.
We charge on a sliding scale, determined by a few different factors including:
- Type of organization
- Your financial resources
- The issue(s) your addressing and how your addressing them
- Our own feelings about how social change works and how effective we think you are likely to be.
